Churches Together in Castle Cary and Ansford
This comprises congregations of All Saints', St Andrew's, and the Methodist Church with the Roman Catholic congregation worshipping at St Andrew's. Together we are affiliated to the Somerset Churches Together.
Our aim is to take every opportunity to worship together and to enter into any activities that are better held jointly rather than individually. For example, by raising an annual sum of money for charity through our Lent Giving.
Churches Together has raised over £26,000.00 over the past few years for projects such as a new water well at an Aids clinic in Zambia.
We organise Lent Courses and the Good Friday Walk of Witness amongst a number of other Events and Services.

The 2007 Lenten Appeal for the village Primary School at Basorri in The Gambia raised £1,750. Martin Emslie will send this sum to the School for the villagers to start the building of the Dining room.
Martin has expressed very great gratitude to Churches Together, and other donors for the wonderful response.
